An angel sounds a trumpet call to the heavenly hosts in a mixed media creation on canvas. It was inspired by the iconic paintings and the illuminated manuscripts of the early renaissance. Hand made papers are layered over canvas with hand written script and metallic paint to capture the depth, detail and gilded effects of the 15th century art.
